The pictures and negotiations on the final price of the watch were excellent. They were able to identify the year the watch was manufactured and provided both the original box and original papers. My only apprehension for not giving them five stars across-the-board is that the watch may need servicing. It works, but it doesn’t seem to be able to hold its power reserve, which indicates I may have to take it in to Cartier. When I’m wearing it, it keeps very accurate time, but if I take it off my wrist to say exercise for an hour I find it is either stopped or is behind on time. I have fully wound the watch today and I’m wearing it all day, I’m holding final judgment until I have a chance to take it off and see if after several hours it maintains its time. But overall the company has been excellent, I received the watch two days after purchase and it arrive to me in excellent condition wrapped very appropriately.

After submitting my order and starting the transfer of funds to purchase the watch, I was told it was already sold. This communication did not happen spontaneously. I happened to ask, while waiting for the funds to be cleared into escrow, if they truly had the watch. Only then did they let me know it was already sold. I can understand that a watch might be sold while it is still being advertised but if it is sold, then you should not accept an offer and you certainly shouldn’t let the buyer transfer funds to purchase a watch you do not have available to sell.
